I feel like our blog is turning into a recipe book, but I have nothing else to talk about :) Food is a part of our everyday life. So here is our new favorite pizza recipe!
Dough:
-3/4 C Warm water
-1 tbsp Yeast
-1/2 tsp sugar (or honey)
Put these 3 items into a bowl together and let sit for 5 minutes or until bubbly.
Meanwhile,
-2 - 3 C Wheat Flour (I almost always use 2 - 2 1/4 C)
-1/2 tsp Salt
-2 tbsp Chia Seed
-1/4 C Olive Oil
Put these into a mixer. Then pour the yeast mixture into the flour mixture when ready and knead for 8 minutes.
Put into a 15" pizza pan or a cookie sheet.
Then add toppings. These are our favorites:
-pour a little olive oil on the top of the crust
-put on some shredded parmesan cheese
-add chopped (about 3) roma tomatoes
-add 1/2 of a chopped red onion
-add some chopped pineapple
-then add some spinach
-top with mozzerrella
Bake in the oven at 425 for about 20 minutes and enjoy!
